From September 2024 the college day will commence at 8:30am, rather than 8:40am.
All students will need to be in their form rooms at 8:30am at the latest.

Welcome to our final newsletter of the Academic Year.
On Thursday 11th-12th July the History department took 40 students and 5 staff to the Somme battlefields for an indepth tour of sites associated with the Battle of the Somme, and in particular the tragic 1st July attack.
On Friday 5th July 2024, the college will be holding a Careers Fair.
On Tuesday 11th June, two of our Year 10 students, Bailey-Mae Walker and Jeremi Trojak represented Sir Harry Smith Community College at the Speak Out Challenge Final at Anglia Ruskin University Peterborough, competing against students from other Cambridgeshire schools.
We are delighted to announce that the expansion works at Sir Harry Smith are now complete, offering students updated facilities and a wider breadth of opportunities for learning. This expansion is allowing us to increase the total number of college places to 1200 and the Published Admission Number (PAN) to 240 in response to current population growth and expected demand from the college’s catchment area.

On Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd March 2024 students from Sir Harry Smith Community College performed in a musical production of Matilda JR.
The Education Inclusion Family Advisor team offers a range of countywide online workshops. We welcome any parent/carer with a child/ren in primary schools. The transition workshops are facilitated by the EIFA team and a member of staff from the Child and Family Centre.
