Advance notice of college closures:
Early closure - Tuesday 3rd October
Normal lessons will finish at 1:20pm to allow the college to prepare for the Year 6 Open Evening.
College closed - Thursday 19th October

Students at Sir Harry Smith Community College’s Sixth Form are celebrating after collecting their A level and BTEC exam results. 78% of students gained their firm or insurance places at university, including 2 students who have gained a place to read at Cambridge University, with several students accessing higher level apprenticeships.

On Monday 10th July, Natalie from The Aim Group came into SHSCC to deliver a CV workshop to all Year 10 students.

Mr Hewitt - Head of year 10 and one of our PE teachers at the college completed the London Marathon on 23rd April 2023.

Over the Easter Holidays our year 9 students, at Sir Harry Smith, were invited to take part in an exciting workshop with Comedian and Professional Writer, Dave Smith.
Just before the Easter holidays, a group of students were lucky enough to take part in a field trip to see Julius Caesar - performed at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon.
