We have collated together information to help and support you below. This outlines a wide variety of in-school and external professional support available to young people. We endeavour to keep this up to date with provisions in-school and across the local area.

We have collated below a detailed list of external services for young people to access. These services are ever changing, evolving and growing, so we would also recommend looking at Keep Your Head for more available services.
This is a fantastic central point for information on children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This site signposts you to important online information and local services on mental health and wellbeing for young people. It’s for children, young people, parents, carers, teachers and other professionals.

NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough have recently launched a local mental health crisis text line, where people who may be in a state of anxiety or worry can start a text conversation by texting the word HEAR to 85258 and be helped to reach a calm state and be signposted to local mental health support.
Kooth provides a safe, secure means of accessing help via the internet from a professional team of qualified counsellors, youth workers and emotional wellbeing practitioners and is available for all 11-18 year olds.
Kooth will be working with all schools and professionals to support students' mental health and wellbeing in and out of school.
At Kooth we offer wellbeing support 365 days a year and we have our wellbeing team online Monday to Friday 12noon to 10pm and weekends 6-10pm. Kooth is free to access, your child simply needs to visit www.kooth.com and click ‘Join Kooth’.
We have a vast range of self help material, peer to peer support and young people are able to contribute too. Everything is pre moderated in order to safeguard our users so you know what your child is accessing is safe. Centre 33
Centre33 are here to listen and to help support young people up to the age of 25 living across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough with mental health, caring responsibilities, housing, sexual health and more.
They know that sometimes talking to somebody who is not your parent, friend or family member in a confidential and non-judgemental setting can help you to manage the worries and stresses of everyday life better. All of their support is free and confidential*.
If you need someone to talk to, you can get support from Centre 33 and they encourage you to contact them at a time and in a way that works for you:
You can self-refer by contacting their helpline: 0333 4141809 - they can take your call from Monday to Friday 12noon-5pm and from 10am-1pm on Saturdays. The rest of the time you can leave a message and they’ll call back as soon as they can.

CASUS - Cambridgeshire Child and Adolescent Substance Use Service, is an NHS service providing information, support and specialist treatment in Cambridgeshire, around drug and alcohol use, to young people under 18 and their families. The website contains information on their services, including how to refer yourself, or somebody else, and lots of information and advice around drugs, alcohol, and mental wellbeing.
YOUnited offers help to children and young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
It is available to those up to the age of 25 and offers a range of support including therapies, counselling and guided self-help.
Referrals can be made to YOUnited by a GP or any professional working with children or young people.
Chat Health is a secure and confidential text messaging service for young people aged 11-19 across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who are struggling to cope with issues such as bullying, emotional health, relationship problems, alcohol and drugs. The number to text is 07480 635443

BAME Support:
Racism & Mental Health, Youngminds: Young minds has a range of resources to support BAME students as well as other sections focused on mental health and wellbeing.
Cruse Provide grief support to children and young people. There is support available online and in person via referrals for both young people and adults.
